Otonom Teknoloji opened up its production facility in “İvedik Organized Industrial Zone”

In the new facility which opened up in June 2014, Aerostat and Airship prototype manufacturing and test activities as well as integration and control of all system and subsystem components will be performed. The manufacturing and test activities will make a major contribution to productization of R&D projects.

Nezir Ertürk, Otonom Teknoloji General Manager, said: “We have selected this area for our new facility to be in close touch with our suppliers as well as to be able to efficiently utilize the production infrastructure of the area”.  In the facility, initially, the prototype production of “Doruk Aerostat System” is realized, whose design and manufacturing techniques have all been developed by Otonom Teknoloji.

With its R&D activities started in May 2013, Otonom Teknoloji aims to design and produce aerostat and airship systems to be utilized in long surveillance missions so as to provide innovative unmanned and autonomous system solutions for the contemporary public safety and environmental problems.
